How are back2life products made?

Back2life products are made of carefully selected materials which, despite being recycled, must meet the highest standards of strength, durability and resistance to damage. It is important to us that our offer includes only excellent quality proposals for the most demanding customers.

After choosing the right materials, they are completely hand-cut and sewn, creating unique, ecological and very comfortable to use products. The process of their creation is strictly controlled and verified at every stage so that the final work is exactly what you expect.

What are back2life products made of?

Our products are made of used tarpaulins or fragments of tarpaulins that are left over from their production and used belts for fastening goods on trucks, as well as materials from headrests, deployed airbags and seat belts.

In both cases, thanks to the use of these materials, we reduce the emission of CO2 and other toxic substances into the atmosphere. Using already existing material, we do not have to commission its creation from scratch. This makes our products very ecological despite the use of synthetic materials.

How do you make synthetic products green?

Imagine you are faced with a choice. You can create something from scratch. First, you prepare the materials, process them to create ready-made components, and only then do you start creating final products from them. You can also use existing materials, skip the process of preparing them and go straight to creating the final products.

In the first case, CO2 emissions are much higher, because creating something new from scratch always requires a huge amount of energy and work, and these are associated with strong CO2 emissions into the environment. If you use products that have already been created and used, for example, for a different purpose, and would be thrown away after fulfilling their function, you extend their life. You make your products a very low burden on the environment.

WHAT'S MORE! By extending the life of such materials as car tarpaulins, seat belts, deployed airbags, materials from headrests, we reduce the amount of waste, which is a huge and very long-term problem for our environment.

Why do we use seat belts?

Seat belts are made of extremely durable material subjected to enormous loads and characterized by high quality workmanship. That is why they are an ideal addition to our products, and by using them we reduce the burden on the environment, care for our planet and think about the future of future generations.

Why do we use material from deployed airbags?

Airbags are made of a very durable material, which, if necessary, is designed to save human life. Even if the airbag deploys as a result of a minor collision, it is sent for disposal and replaced with a new one. The material that was used to create it is fully reusable and can be used to make our products. It is durable, flexible and, most importantly, already exists, so thanks to it, when creating our products, we minimize the amount of CO2 that is released to the environment.

Why do we create products from car tarpaulins?

We live in a world where millions of tons of products whose usefulness has not been exhausted are thrown away / recycled or burned every day. We decided that a car tarpaulin, which will remain in the environment as waste for several hundred years after being thrown away, is an ideal material for making products that will not make it useless waste. It is a durable, very resistant to damage material, the properties of which will translate into the properties of our products.

We follow the principle of rational and responsible use of natural resources. We believe that if it is not necessary to obtain materials directly from the environment for the production of an item, because previously produced materials can be used instead, this is the best way to reduce our negative impact on the environment.
